Ausgangssituation:
Als das System das letzte mal "normal" lief, wurde es gegen Ende immer langsamer und hing sich schließlich auf (Mauszeiger war nicht mehr sichtbar usw.). Wütend und in einem Moment der Unbedachtheit schlug der User auf den Laptop hinauf. Es wurden zuletzt keine Hardware-Änderungen vorgenommen, nicht ein mal Peripherie wurde eingesteckt oder entfernt.
Problem (Teil 1):
Folgende abgeschriebene Fehlermeldung erschien nun jedes mal beim Startversuch (kein Bluescreen):

Beim Versuch die Starthilfe zu benutzen, im Abgesicherten Modus hochzufahren oder die Reparatur-Optionen aufzurufen, erschien jedes mal kurz nachdem der Mauszeiger zu sehen war folgender Bluescreen:

Unternommene Lösungsversuche:
Auf einen Platten- oder CD-Rom-Laufwerk-Defekt getippt.
Beides wurde im BIOS normal erkannt.
Hersteller-Diagnose-Tool (HDD von Western Digital) von CD ausprobiert, Platte nicht erkannt (evtl. schlecht gebrannt, ein danach gebranntes Ubuntu mit einem Rohling gleichen Fabrikats lief aufgrund unlesbarer Sektoren auf der CD nicht).
Optisches Laufwerk ausgebaut, Fehler bestand weiterhin.
Andere HDD mit funktionierender Windows 7-Installation eines anderen Laptops eingebaut und von ihr gebootet. Ebenfalls Bluescreen. Die HDD des nicht funktionierenden Laptops (also mit dem Boot-Fehler) in den funktionierenden Laptop eingebaut und von ihr gebootet: Windows fuhr hoch, wurde allerdings aufgrund eines Fehlers wieder heruntergefahren (evtl. falsches Stammsystem/falschen Laptop erkannt?), jedoch kein Bluescreen! Fehler erschien normal in einem Windows-Fenster.
HDD mit dem Boot-Fehler wieder zurück in das Ursprungs-System gebaut. Optisches Laufwerk wieder eingebaut. Ubuntu von Live-CD gestartet. HDD wurde problemlos erkannt, alle Dateien ließen sich sichern.
Anschließend "Ultimate Boot CD" gestartet, auf der ebenfalls ein Diagnose-Tool von WD enthalten war. Dieses ausgeführt, durch unverständliche Menüs gehangelt (sprich teilweise keine Ahnung von dem gehabt, was ich auswähle), dann einen Quick Scan gemacht. Es wurden Fehler auf der HDD erkannt. Programm ohne Reparatur wieder beendet. Dann noch einen RAM-Test von derselben CD aus gemacht. Keine Probleme.
Problem (Teil 2):
Seitdem erscheint bei jedem Bootvorgang von der HDD nun folgender Fehler (kein Bluescreen):

Keine Starthilfe-Option, auch zum F8-Menü gelangt man nicht mehr.
Hilferuf:
Was kann ich nun tun? Ich weiß weder, was das Problem verursacht, noch wie ich es beseitigen kann. Eine bootfähige Vista-CD liegt nicht vor, System-Reset von der HDD funktioniert nicht (man kam erst wegen Bluescreen, dann wg. letztgenannter Fehlermeldung nicht bis dort hin).
