Hiho zusammen,

die Frage beschäftig mich eigentlich bei jedem neuen Catalyst und so richtig konnte sie mir noch nicht beanwortet werden. Laut dem off. AMD-Dokument wrden folgende Grafikchips und Chipsätze unterstützt:

Wie sieht es mit der Unterstützung für Mobile AMD/ATI-Chips aus? Habe das MSI GT725 mit mobile HD4850. Nutze den Treiber von der MSI-Page:

Nun ist der nicht mehr aktuell. Er basiert wohl auf dem Catalyst 9.3. Der neue hat ja die Treiberversion 8.632.

Gibst Probleme, wenn ich einfach den normalen Catalyst drüberbügel? Bevor ich mir jetzt den Aufwand mache, wollte ich einfach mal nachfragen.

auf der ATI Seite gibts doch aktuellen Treiber für die 4000er Mobilitiy Serie.

Nutze den 9.7 für meine 4650 mit Win 7 64Bit.

Hatte das ins falsche Forum gestellt, da ich einen für Vista brauche. Habe das aber wohl im Startpost nicht deutlich genug angegeben.

So, nach bisl Recherche auf den AMD-Seiten ( AMD-Support Wizzard ) habe ich folgendes gefunden:

If you have a laptop or notebook computer manufactured by one of these companies, you can download and install the ATI Mobility Catalyst™ drivers at the following location:

Simply click on your Operating System (eg. Windows XP Professional/Home), your product family (eg. Mobility Radeon) and then choose the product that is in your notebook (eg. ATI Mobility Radeon™ X1400)

If you do not have a laptop manufactured by one of the companies listed above, you will need to obtain the drivers for your product directly from the notebook manufacturer.



ATI Mobility Radeon™ Support for Windows Vista®

Currently AMD does not provide any driver support for ATI Mobility Radeon™ products. All driver and technical support for ATI Mobility Radeon™ products is provided by the original laptop or notebook manufacturer. The drivers that are available for download at ati.amd.com are for desktop products only.

To download ATI Mobility Radeon™ drivers or driver updates for Windows Vista for your laptop or notebook product, please visit your laptop or notebook manufacturer's website.



Assistance for Non-Supported Notebook Manufacturers
