Moin,
ich hab mich nach längerem überlegen nun doch selbst dazu überredet auf Vista umzusteigen.
Letzte Woche brav die Retail-Ultimate-Version zugelegt.
Leider funktioniert der Umstieg aber überhaupt nicht wie geplant!!!
Beim ersten Neustarten nach dem Kopieren der Daten in Windows XP Pro erhalte ich nach dem 2sec. Auswahldialog (Installation Fortsetzen oder altes Windows starten) einen Blue Screen mit dem bla bla à la "Check with the hardware vendor for any updated hardware drivers or BIOS"...
Mir war schon klar das es nicht am Bios liegt, aber man lässt sich sowas dann ja trotzdem einreden. Sprich: 1.0d Phoenix Bios Update für mein MD6200 von der Medion Page geladen und das Bios aktualisiert... Natürlich hat das ganze das Problem nicht gelöst!
Was nun?

Hallo
Da muß ich dich leider enttäuschen. Vista
läuft nicht auf diesem Notebook. Das Bios ist
nicht Vista kompatible. Gibt keine Möglichkeit,
Vista zum laufen zu kriegen. Und da Medion kein
neues Bios rausbringt, bleibt nur XP übrig.

Das ist echt ne Sauerrei!
Habe vor dem Post mit nem Mediontechniker gesprochen. Der meinte zu mir ich solle die Installation von der CD Booten, dann läufts. Der Blue Screen sei eine Standardfehlermeldung, die Windows sehr häufig ausspuckt. Der Fehler war natürlich reproduzierbar... -.-
Für das 3 Min. legt man dann auch noch 5€ auf den Tisch! *applaudier*
