Ich möchte in meine Dell Dimension 4600
dass neue Bios Update einspielen. Ich kann das Update aber
nur über Dos einspielen da ich im Moment kein Xp drauf habe.
Wie komm ich jetzt ins Dos Menü wo ich die Pfade etc. eingeben
kann. Wie man es zB. noch von Windows 3.1 kennt.


Ich habe:

Eine Startdiskette erstellt und dass Bios update
wie beschrieben auf die Diskette kopiert.

Danach die Diskette ins Laufwerk gelegt und von ihr
gebootet.

Copy the file D4600A12.EXE to a bootable floppy.


Boot from the floppy to the MS DOS prompt.


Run the file by typing Y:\D4600A12.EXE (where y is the drive letter where the executable is located).
