hallo!

ich besitze einen LITE - ON DVD RW Brenner (SOHW - 1693S) und hab folgendes problem:

CDs brennen ist mit dem brenner kein problem. bei DVDs brennen scheint die sache überhaupt nicht zu funktionieren. der brenner war ein neukauf, 3 monate alt, nur hab ich es noch nie zusammengebracht eine DVD richtig zu brennen. unter nero 7 bekomme ich immer die selbe fehlermeldung: POWER CALIBRATION ERROR.


ich hab schon alles mögliche probiert:
- nero 6.6 ultra edition probiert...selbes ergebnis
- nero 5.5 probiert...wieder das gleiche
- von sony bis platinum bis emtec bis tdk bis sony dvd + rohlinge probiert... wieder das selbe problem
- systemcache auf 7gb erhöht...hilft auch nix
- firmware update erfolgreich durchgeführt...hilft aber auch nix


weiss jemand, woran es liegen könnte, daß ich es kein einziges mal zusammenbringe eine dvd erfolgreich zu brennen?

meine pc spezifikationen: athlon xp 3200, ati x700, 1024 mb ram, 200 gb western digital, msi motherboard

nachdem du schon jede mir bekannte variation getestet hast würde ich das gerät an deiner stelle umtauschen.

Genaue angaben kannn ich dir nicht geben aber eins mal dazu update mal dein ASPI Treiber da gibts schon wieder nen neuen

Ich glaube (...) nicht, daß es ein Treiber-Problem ist und würde (als letzte Chance vor dem Umtausch) probieren, alle anderen Laufwerke abzuhängen, Alcohol zu deinstallieren (AXV), dann Neustart und schauen, ob's dann funktioniert. Der PowerCalibration-Fehler deutet aber m.E. auf Hardware-Defekt.
