Miranda IM 0.8.0 Testing Build #17 verfügbar!

Ok, summer of code begins with build 17. In this build:

- attempt was made to exclude the possibility of crashes caused by threads which were owned by the dynamically unloaded protocol object. Also the architecture of loading & unloading protocols was slightly redesigned;
- some minor fixes were made to the core, GG & MSN protocols;
- Ono added mingw makefiles and adapted the source code to be compiled by this free compiler (although nightly builds were, are and will be compiled by Visual C++).

In fact, build 18 summarizes the certain stage of the 0.8’s development: now almost all core protos support accounts, cause Boris committed the brand new MSN protocol. Now Miranda supports accounts for AIM, ICQ, IRC, Jabber & MSN protocols, the only exclusion is YAHOO.

Also in build 18:
- new tabSRMM (2.2.1.8);
- new XEP is supported now by Jabber (XEP-0108, User Activity), plus a bunch of new icons drawn by Angelika;
- some fixes for ICQ protocol;
- some minor fixes for the core.

Miranda IM 0.8.0 Final verfügbar!

The Miranda IM team is proud to introduce Miranda IM v0.8. Miranda IM v0.8 contains hundreds of new features including the ability to add and manage accounts from the new Account Manager. Also, SSL support is now built-in to take advantage of encrypted connections (no more configuration is needed). Miranda IM 0.8.1 Preview Release #1 & #2 verfügbar!

0.8.1 Preview Release #1 addresses a few issues that cropped up in the 0.8.0 release.

- Added account rename on double click
- Made account renaming Explorer style (click away – accept)
- Fixed status bar icons after account upgrade
- Pre 0.8 contact list plugins will no longer load (stability issues occurred)
- Network list in options wasn’t sorted
- Fixed Status menu when only one protocol exist
- Fixed tray icon selection
- Fixed crash in options on XP pre SP2
- Fixed errors loading dlls on wrong OS
- Yahoo: Show download progress properly
- Yahoo: Cancel out in the middle of file receive.

Ist der Win7 Bug mit der neune 8.1 nun raus? (Das ist der "Bug", wo alle Fenster etc. flackern wie doof, weil die Kontaktliste ständig neu aktualisiert wird -.- ) und sry wegen der Frage, aber Englisch ist eh.. doof ´*g*

In den Changelogs steht soweit nichts von Deinem Problem. Trotzdem würd' ich's nochmal auf einen Test ankommen lassen, vielleicht ist der Bug ja doch mittlerweile behoben.
Hab kein Win7, kann soweit gar nicht beurteilen ob das ein Bug in Miranda IM selbst oder ein Problem auf Deiner Seite ist.

Es könnte auch einfach sein, dass du veraltete Plugins benutzen tust, die dafür verantwortlich sind. Eventuell hilft es auch alle Plugins die älter als 2006 sind mal zu deaktivieren, sehr alte bringen gern mal einige Sachen durcheinander.

Diese Hinweise solltest du beim Update von 0.7.x auf 0.8.x auch noch beachten.
