Hallo Leute!
Also, ich habe mir ein Altes Notebook gekauft, das ich benutzen wollte, um Texte unterwegs zu schreiben und um zu programmieren. Ich weiß selbst, dass das ganze ein bisschen schlecht ist, nicht desdo trotz, hier mein Anliegen:
Ich will also Win XP installieren, der Computer meldet: "Weniger als 64MB RAM Speicher vorhanden. Installation wird abgebrochen!"
Dann habe ich es mit Win ME probiert: "Der Prozessor hat unter 150MhZ!"
Ich habe 40MB RAM und 1xx (weiß nicht) Prozessorgeschwindigkeit. Warum diese Begrenzungen? Ich bin mir sicher, dass Win XP oder ME bei mir Laufen würden! Kann man diese "Sperre" irgendwie umgehen? Wie sieht es bei älteren Versionen von Windows aus (98, 98SE, 2000). Haben diese auch so Beschränkungen!?

Die Abfrage lässt sich durch diverse Tricks/Schalter bei der Installation umgehene, dennoch solltest du kein OS > ME auf der Kiste installieren, das läuft dann einfach nicht vernünftig.
Meine Empfehlung: Windows 95 und wenn nötig, Windows 98 SE, aber nichts anderes.

Danke für deine schnelle Antwort. Kann man dem System irgendwie "vorgaukeln", dass der Arbeitspeicher höher ist? Ich habe 40MB RAM - dann klappt doch 98 SE eigentlich nicht, oder?!

Ja, das ging irgendwie, wenn nicht sogar ohne Probleme. Hier mal das was Google da ausspuckt, wühl dich einfach mal durch. 
/? Provides a list of the setup switches (not always complete)
/d Tells setup to NOT use the current version of Windows on the hard drive (if one exists) to execute the Windows 98 setup routines. Can only be used if you run setup.exe from a "real mode" DOS prompt. This is useful if the current version on the hard drive is corrupt.
/id Tells setup to skip checking for enough disk space for the installation.
/ie Setup will skip the emergency startup disk creation.
/ih Setup will only run the "consistancy checks" on the Registry, no other portions of the Windows 98 installation will execute. Useful if you think you may have a registry problem.
/il Loads the Logitech mouse driver. Use this if you have a series C Logitech mouse.
/im Tells setup to skip the RAM check
/in Tells setup to skip the Networking setup screens.
/iq Tells setup to skip checking for cross-linked files
/ir Tells setup to not update the Master Boot Record.
/is Tells setup to skip running SCANDISK on your hard drive prior to beginning installation
/iv Skips the graphics that change every few minutes during the file copy phase of the installation
/IW Skips the Windows 98 Licensing screen (note that this must be in capital letters)
/nf Windows 98 Setup will skip the prompt to remove the floppy disk from the disk drive - useful if installing from a bootable CD-ROM.

Na beim Setup(Provides a list of the setup switches...).
Beispiel:
Setup.exe /im /is /id /........

Danke, jetzt habe ich es auch verstanden!
Aber ich wollte Win ME installieren und dann kam eine Fehlermeldung weil der Prozessor so langsam sei. Dieses kann man dort aber nicht abschalltet, wieso?

Hallo,
hab mir vor 5 1/2 Jahren ein Notebook mit 133er Pentium und 32MB Ram gegönnt, da läuft Win 98SE bis heute stabil drauf - das sollte bei dir eigentlich auch funktionieren...
