Der Titel sagt eigentlich alles. Die Installation bleibt bei 45% stecken und kommt auch nach Stunden nicht weiter. Ich benutze Hyper-V mit Windows 8.1 Pro als Host. Mein Bruder hat das selbe Problem. Irgendwelche Ideen, was da schief gehen könnte?

Du versuchst jetzt aber nicht Hyper-V in einer virtuellen Maschine zu starten?

Oder verstehe ich Dich da gerade falsch?

Oder meinst Du, Du willst Windows 10 in der VM installieren? Ich glaube, so meinst Du das.

Ich versuche, meine virtuelle Maschine, die auf Hyper-V läuft, von Build 9841 auf Build 9860 zu aktualisieren, aber die Installation kommt nicht über 45% hinaus.

Ich hab's schon dreimal versucht, einmal hab ich das gesamte Update neu heruntergeladen. Eine Neuinstallation hab ich aber noch nicht versucht, ich dachte, vielleicht könnte ich es erstmal anders lösen.

Gute Frage. Müsste das selber mal in Hyper-V teste. Nur das läuft bei mir gerade nicht, weil ich es irgendwie putt gemacht habe.

Aber solange das da bei Dir läuft bzw. steht, kannst Du mal Shift+F10 drücken. Geht dann die Konsole im Setup auf? Falls ja, dann gehe mal nach den beiden Verzeichnissen:

C:\Windows\Panther
C:\$Windows.~BT\sources\Panther

Sichere da mal die Log Dateien. Da könnte man sich das mal anschauen, was da schief läuft.

Nebenbei kannst Du Dir auch das ganze Verzeichnis C:\$Windows.~BT\sources\ sichern, sofern sich darin noch die install.esd befindet. Das spart den erneuten Download von der DVD. Das Upgrade lässt sich auch im nachhinein von dort aus ausführen, egal wo sich das Verzeichnis 'sources' befindet.

Und, wenn Du noch die 9860.0.141008-2044.fbl_release_CLIENTPRO_RET_x64fre_en-us.esd in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download findest (sollte da sein, bevor man auf 'Install' drückt, dann kannst Du Dir daraus mit einem Script (esd-decrypter) eine komplette DVD erstellen lassen, welche sowohl ein Upgrade als auch eine Neuinstallation zulässt.

Das man während der Installation die Kommandozeile öffnen kann, wusste ich gar nicht. Das ist ja toll!

Versuch mal die Maschine zu klonen und dann den klon zu updaten. Sieht nach einem Fehler mit der virtuellen Festplatte aus.

Ist das zufällig mal ein Win XP gewesen diese VdK ?

Nope, ich hab die virtuelle Maschine nur für Windows 10 erstellt und benutzt. Hab das Problem aber indirekt lösen können, indem ich einfach mit der ISO von WinFuture upgedatet hab. Hoffentlich klappt das nächste Update dann auch reibungslos. ^^

Hatte wieder das selbe Problem beim Upgrade auf Build 9879. Jedes Mal endet die Installation an der folgenden Stelle (45%):

Ich habe versucht, die Build neu zu installieren und siehe da, das Upgrade auf 9860 klappte dort, allerdigns wieder nicht von 9860 auf 9879. Anscheinend gibt es immer Probleme beim Anwenden des Images, aber weshalb? Habt ihr Ideen? Arbeitsspeicher der VM ist 2 GB, allerdings traten die Probleme auch mit 3, 3.5 und 4 GB auf. Vor Beginn der Installation ist der freie Festplattenspeicher ungefähr 14 oder 15 GB.

Hab ich schon mit der WinFuture-Version und so funktioniert es ja auch. Aber darum geht's nicht. Ich will das Problem irgendwie eingrenzen können, damit ich erstens nicht immer auf die neuen ISOs warten muss und damit ich es außerdem MS reporten kann.

probiers doch einfach mit dem doppelten diskspace... Und überhaupt, MAN UPGRADED NICHT

Ich hab schon den Diskspace erhöht, hat trotzdem nichts gebracht. Ich hab beim laufenden Upgrade die Festplattennutzung überwacht und bis zum Schluss waren über 10 GB übrig.

Und es geht hier doch gerade eben darum, den Upgrade-Prozess zu testen. Das ist ja nur eine virtuelle Maschine, da kann es ruhig Probleme geben. Vielleicht sind Neuinstallationen besser, aber ich hab meinen Rechner von Windows 7 auf 8 und dann von 8 auf 8.1 upgegradet und ich hatte insgesamt je nur zwei kleinere Probleme, die ich direkt mit dem Upgrade in Verbindung bringen würde (wenn du interessiert bist, kann ich sie gern hier ausführen!) - ließen sich aber leicht lösen.
