Wenn ich gentoo nach der (stage 3) installation boote (mit grub) dann kommt immer nach ca 20 sekunden booten eine Meldung, die folgendermaßen aussieht:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*checking all filesystems...
fsck: Cannot check /dev/ROOT: fsck.xvs not found
fsckext2: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/BOOT
/dev/BOOT:
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2
FIlesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2
filesystem (and not swao or ufs or something else), than the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsk -b 8193 <device>

Fsck could not correct all errors, manual repair needed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ich versteh das so: der sucht nach ner ext2 platte, ich hab aber

hda1 -- ReiserFS (boot)
hda2 -- SWAP
hda3 -- ReiserFS (root)

Hallo

/dev/BOOT
/dev/ROOT was hast du da aufgeführt? Normalerweise heißt das ja /dev/hda1, /dev/hda2 usw.

poste mal deine /etc/fstab

Edit: Aso, das sind glaube ich die Defaultwerte in der /etc/fstab. Die Datei musst du noch anpassen.
