Same problem, no Windows Vista/7 x64 drivers for my hardware.
Solution:
Only for Win 7 ultimate and up.
Download(free) from microsoft the Virtual pc Winxp files)2) for Win7 and install.
Attention, smallest file first, read microsoft installation info on website.
After install start the virtual xp mode and install the 32bit winxp drivers for printer/scanner usw....For most hardware the 32bit xp drivers are available.
For scan/print you have to start the virtual first. I think, a small inconvenience for to be able to use older scanners and printers or other hardware. Works for me also with pci cards and usbsticks usw....
Switch between original desktop and virtual works flawless and virtual in background.

Note for starters: For 32/64 bit windows 7 versions, first read the drivers list from win 7. No driver download from manufacturer or installation virtual Winxp necessary if your hardware is listed, then Win7 will start the driver(s) installation auto after hardware connection.

Mensch das is ein deutsches Forum!

Das was er da schreibt, is aber eh nicht der Weisheit letzter Schluß, denn wer will die Hardware nur in einer VM nutzten können? Habe das selbst mal mit Windows XP x64 durch, als es noch kein FRITZ!Fax x64 gab und mit der Sony Ericsson PC-Suite für Smartphones, die (nach wie vor) nur Vista x64 unterstützt - ist einfach nur nervig. Unter 7 gibts für letztere zumindest einen Workaround...

Ich hab selbst das Problem, das für meinen Brother DCP-115C keine 7-Treiber zu finden sind - 7 selbst bietet nur den 116C aufwärts an. Die Lösung war heir aber ganz einfach, denn ich musste Windows 7 nur Windows Update nach einem Treiber durchsuchen lassen. Da isser ja, der DCP-115C. Funktioniert bestens. Man kann ja vorher mal einen Blick in den Windows Update katalog werfen, ob da Treiber vorhanden sind.

Do not understand your remarks.
This WinXP Virtual is a 32bits version, designed to be compatible to Win7 ultimate and up only. Therefore can and use the xp 32bits drivers. Useful are no W7 drivers present at all.
Not an ideal solution and not a standard vm but works fine for W7 x64 ulti.
For drivers read my "Note for starters". On Microsoft web a complete list for Win7 32/64 drivers is avail as you already know.

Pse, before react read first.
About the lang. Do you prefer the French or Spanish lang?
