Hi,

ich habe folgendes Problem: Trotz (meiner Meinung nach) richtiger Konfiguration habe ich im X kein deutsches Tastaturlayout mit meinem Thinkpad T42 mit Gentoo. Ohne X funktioniert es aber wunderbar. Im X ist das Layout jedoch immer US-Englisch. Hier mal meine xorg.conf:

Nutzt du HAL? Dann schau dir mal die entsprechenden Regeln an, das Teil spielt gerne seine eigenen Spielchen.

Die müsstest du unter /etc/hal/fdi/policy/10-keymap.fdi bzw /etc/hal/fdi/policy/10-x11-input.fdi finden können..

Einfach in den ServerFlags

Ahh, stimmt, daran hatte ich nicht gedacht. OK, ich werde mir die HAL-Regeln mal ansehen und wenn das nicht klappt, kann ich ja immer noch mit den ServerFlags das ganze daktivieren. Danke.
