Nein, bin leider noch nicht weiter gekommen. Muss mich mich da auch ertsmal iwi reinfuchsen, mit den ganzen Begriffen, ACPI/APIC und Kernel etc. Wie gesagt bin absoluter Linux Noob und kann mit den ganzen Sachen nix anfangen.

Habe leider noch nicht die Zeit gefunden mich da einzu abreiten das ich das alles verstehe.
Hatte ja schonmal ne Linux Version installiert weiß aber auch nicht mehr welche...

Bist du dir auch 100%-tig sicher, dass du nicht die PowerPC Version erwischt hast?

Das ist dringents zu empfehlen, da gerad' solche Begriffe keine Seltenheit sind :smokin:

mal ein wenig hilfe:

Wikipedia ACPI

APCI wirst du im Zusammenhang mit Hardware/software nie finden (denk' ich mal) :imao:

Wikipedia APCI Es sei denn du hast nen Atmosphärischen Rechner :imao:

Wikipedia Kernel (kurfassung: Das eigentliche Betriebssystem. Also der "Kern")

Ja bin ich eigentlich, siehe Bild! Nur die markierten habe ich gezogen. Brauch ich vllt. die Boot CD? Ich weiß dumme Frage, aber evtl. liegt es daran? Edit: Ok, gerade gelesen das diese für die Internetinstallation ist, aber evtl. geht es ja dann mit der?!

So mit deaktivierten ACPI bzw. APIC, ging es auch nicht, habe es gerade noch einmal versucht! Er liest erst gar nicht die CD/DVD?!?!

Habe eben mal versucht Ubuntu zu booten = keine Probleme...
Das selbe gilt für Debian, welches ich gerade installiere...

ob das nun grad ACPI-fähig ist kann ich dir empfehlen, mal beim Chipsatz-hersteller zu schauen.

BTW: Im Bios lässt sich ACPI deaktivieren ;) (muss man bei nForce zb teilweise noch machen wenn man *nix installiert)

Andernfalls kannst du auch *nix im Bootmenü mitgeben, dass ACPI nicht verwendet werden soll. Denke mal hier kann dir ph030 sagen wie dieser "befehl" heißt. Da ich bisweilen damit noch keine Probleme hatte, kann ich dir leider hier nicht sagen wie du das dem *nix (in deinem falle mal bei opensuse => Wiki schauen) abschaltest.

Da sieht manns mal wieder :wink: da gibts beim Setup sogar nen punkt für:

Wie weiter oben schon erwähnt, habe ich scho nversucht mit deaktivierten ACPI zu installen was auch fehlschlug.

aber i mBIOS habe ich natürlich noch nicht geguckt....

Hi Vali erst einmal vielen Dank für Deinen interessanten Tread, habe Deine Nachricht zur Suse Install erhalten. Nun kommt schon Suse 10.3 voraussichtlich am 08.10.07 als Finalversion auf den Markt u. voraussichtlich auch zum Download. Mal sehen was diese neue Version bringt? Schade, das Du mit Deiner Weisheit in Sachen Linux Installation am Ende bist ;) hilft nur mit Vista oder XP weiter zu machen, wobei ich persönlich letzteres immer noch vorziehen würde. Also bis später Lestat........... ;)

Da bist du aber ein bischel fehl-informiert....

Relase ist JETZT am Donnerstag den 04.10. Und als DW ist es immer.... Du kannst auch innen Laden gehen und es kaufen (schönes gedruktes Handbuch anstatt nur als PDF auf der DVD)

Aber auch 90Tage Support sind Anspruch auf Support, den man bei einer gesaugten Version nicht hat.

Und in 90 Tagen sollte selbst eine Linux Distri installiert sein :P

Nicht ganz am Ende :D

Anchdem das Installieren von der DVD fehlschlägt kommt man ja in so eine andere Grafikoberfläche, wo dann steht das es fehlschlug. Da kann man dann den jmircon Treiber laden und siehe da, es rennt *freu*

Aber da ja nun eh die 10.3 kommt, warte ich mit installieren auf diese Version :)

naja, danke für die beiträge, somit bin auch auf eine lösung gekommen mit linux 10.2
im bios AHCI mode aktiviert und den jmicron treiber nachgeladen und schon hats funktioniert.

mein board: GA-P35-DS3P
