Dashboard 2.1 Beta 1 is now available for general download. This version changes the application's UI, and adds access to the Dashboard Remote Prefs Service.

System requirements for Dashboard are changing beginning with this release:

• Pentium-class process or better
• One of the following versions of Microsoft Windows:
Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4
Windows XP with Service Pack 2
Windows Vista
• 128MB of RAM
• Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0

This version of Dashboard will not install on any version of Windows other than those listed, and will not install if the .NET Framework 2.0 is not present on the system.

This beta release will expire (will no longer run) after November 1, 2006.
