Is there a copy of win iso builder for windows 7 ultimate home premium. I had used the previous version of win xp iso builder on an emachine that had a restore partition with great success. this program allowed me to create a working install cd/dvd with all drivers , etc. therefore , I was able to remove the restore partition , recover the space and reinstall with this dvd. So, my wife bought me a new computer with windows 7 ultimate home premium and as usual, microcrap and hp put a burnable image which is corrupted, and they refuse to replace this restore media unless I pay 27.00 usd , I refuse to pay more money for something that should have been included and available to myself and other end users from the start.

Thank you all in advance.

No way with the XP-Builder. You need something like this.

Thank you for your reply, but, win xp builder allowed me to create an installation dvd/cd from the files located on my drive. The WAIK will not/does not do that. I keep hearing that there is a version for windows vista yet I was unable to find it so this is why I asked for a version for windows 7 so I could make a/n install dvd from the files on my drive and get rid of all the unwanted things and put into place a restore media and windows installation dvd that hp does not supply.

On the second link would this work with my legitimate serial number from the side of my computer. This computer is only 2 weeks old and it is also the third I have had to return it twice already to best buy. There is the exact same problem on all the machines from the same lot but hp support seems unconcerned. So, again, if I use the second link in your post would i be able to use my legit key in order to make a usable install?

Thank you so much for your assistance.

Yes the key you have bought will be usable with this Images. In your first post you wrote :

Zitat

windows 7 ultimate home premium
. The Key on your PC is just for Ultimate or Home Premium. If you install 7 the Key says the installation what to install.

(today my english sucks :) )
