Jep, zum Rippen eignet sich am besten MTR. Zum runterrechnen - damit alles auf einen 4,7GB Rohling passt - eignet sich am besten DVD2One oder Roxio Popcorn. Kostet leider beides Geld. Kostenlose Alternativen habe ich für den Mac noch nicht entdeckt.

habe bereits selber etwas gefunden namens handbrake. es kodiert die videos von dvd gleich ins xvid format

hast zwar schon was gefunden aber die website www.versiontracker.com wird für dich bestimmt auch in zukunft interessant sein was software betrifft. =)

Ich würde dir zu HandBrake raten, das ist unter Mac OS X wirkich IRRE schnell.
