Microsoft hat zwei Word-Dokumente zur kommenden Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 veröffentlicht.


IE7 Beta 1 Technical Overview

The Beta 1 release of Internet Explorer 7 includes a subset of all the new features that will be delivered in the final version of Internet Explorer 7. This release is intended to enable developers to begin to test the new browser for compatibility with their applications and Web sites.

Anti-phishing White Paper

The focus of this white paper is to describe the basic workings of a new capability, the Microsoft Phishing Filter, that will be included in the upcoming release of Internet Explorer 7. The Microsoft Phishing Filter will not only help provide consumers with a dynamic system of warning and protection against potential phishing attacks, but — more important — it will also benefit legitimate ISPs and Web commerce site developers that want to try to ensure that their brands are not being “spoofed” to propagate scams and that their legitimate outreach to customers is not confusing or misinterpreted by filtering software.

- Improved design to make everyday tasks easier and faster, with better navigation through tabbed browsing; inline search right from the toolbar; shrink-to-fit Web page printing; and a streamlined, redesigned user interface (currently in its early stages in Beta 1).

- New tools to take you directly to the information you want through support for Web feeds (RSS) that includes automatic discovery of web feeds (RSS) on Web pages, basic Web Feed (RSS) reading capabilities, and basic support for saving Web feeds (RSS) as a new kind of favorite.

- Platform enhancements for developers to improve compatibility and manageability, including improved support for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) as well as transparent PNG support.

Habe mir die Beta auch mal in ca. 5 Minuten Download gesaugt... und was war? Alles umsonst die Installation bricht mit der Meldung ab das mein bisheriger IE ein anderes Language File besitzt. Also scheint die Beta wohl nur mit dem Englischen/US WinXP zu funktionieren.

Ich hoffe mal das am 3. August die Offiziellen Betas dann auch in allen Sprachen verfügbar sind!

trotzdem danke für die antwort. Aber leider bisschen happig der spass würde ich sagen, auf jeden fall lohnt es sich nicht für eine beta von IE7

das msdn abo lohnt sich eigentlich nur für firmen bzw. deren admins
