Timeout checking is now performed only in the main menu, not submenus.
Main menu now count down the number of minutes to booting first harddisk. Thanks to Erwin Veermans for the idea.
Reintroduced PowerMax V4.09, as recommended by Scott Cooper: "Keep Maxtor's 4.09 test as well as the latest (4.21) as Maxtor intentionally crippled the newer versions to not run on non-Maxtor drives. I have been using Maxtor's 4.09 to double-check other tests/drives. I've found it more useful than DFT, which also (as of 3.x) runs on other brands."
Modified UBCD to use [F8] and [F9] to boot from HDD so that it is similar to the Windows boot option menu. Thanks to Scott Cooper for the suggestion.
Run a separate timeout.scn when main menu times out to allow for easier customization. Thanks to Scott Cooper for the suggestion.

Ultimate Boot CD v3.4

Ein gute Sammlung von nützlichen System-Diagnostik-Utilities.

After a long gap, Ultimate Boot CD Ver 3.4 is finally ready for download! There is the usual update of apps to their latest versions. Erwin Veermans has added a new feature on the FreeDOS bootdisk that allows you to update the virus database for F-Prot, McAfee and AVG over the network. A new expert mode has also been added (by pressing the [Ins] key at the menus) that allows you to choose which boot disk (FreeDOS, OpenDOS or MSDOS) to use when running certain apps if you encounter compatibility issues.

Den kompletten, sehr umfangreichen Changelog gibt es hier.

Ich möchte mit der Boot CD meine HDD's löschen. Wie mache ich das mit demm HDDErease v3.1?

Ich komme soweit, dass da

Zitat

welcome to secure erease freeware: completely erease your HDD Version 3.1
da steht. Und nun? HDD ab und anklemmen hilft nichts und es tut sich nichts. Habe nur die zu löschende HDD dran.

Gruß
Daniel
