Ich habe ein Problem mit meinen neuen Laptop: Ich versuche, einen VGA-Monitor via Adapter an meinen mini displayport anzuhängen. Leider erscheint kein Bild auf dem Monitor. Hier einige Details:
OS: Debian wheezy (testing) mit gnome-shell 3.4.2
Grafikkarte: Ene von nVidia mit Optimus-Technologie. Treiber aber noch nicht installiert, läuft momentan mit der onBoard-Karte (Intel IvyBridge Mobile) und dem Treiber i915
/var/log/Xorg.0.log nach dem Anschliessen des Adapters (unabhängig davon, ob Monitor an Adapter):

--> die höchste Auflösung an meinem externen Bildschirm wär 1280x1024

In /var/log/messages hat es keine Meldungen.
Hat irgend jemand eine Idee, was das sein könnte? Wenn ich einen Monitor via HDMI anhänge, funktioniert es problemlos (er wird automatisch erkannt und als erweiterter Monitor hinzugefügt).
