Extra Java nur wegen firefox? Instalier dich einfach SunJava(findet sich im downloadbereich von winfuture), das sollte dann wohl reichen ;-)

lad dir einfach von sun die java-vm runter
dann brauchst du aber möglicherweise noch das java-fix für den firefox
dazu gibst du einfach das hier
in eine txt-datei ein und speicherst sie als z.b. javafix.reg ab, danach machst du nen doppelclick auf die datei und kannst dich nun freuen, dass java mit dem firefox geht....
