3.0.7 "not Responding" Unable to integrate with SP3

After a mighty struggle, I finally managed to convert my recovery disk to a full version of WinXP Home. When the process was completed, I clicked on "Close."

I next wanted to integrate the full version and SP3. I clicked on Start::Choose Folder/Drive... and selected the folder where the full version is located. Up popped the question "Do you want a special folder for the integration?" I clicked on "No" and a few seconds later the entire xp-Iso-Builder window went white. When I clicked in the blank white window, "Not Responding" was added to the window title.

The same thing happened half a dozen times before I gave up. I can't figure out what, if anything, I'm doing wrong. If I can't integrate the full version and SP3, I've wasted my time -- the full version by itself is worthless.

I'd appreciate any suggestions as to how to proceed.

The problem was apparently a corrupt file, because when I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it using a freshly downloaded installation file, I was easily able to integrate the full version and SP3. I was also easily able to integrate a group of update files into the full version with SP3 and easily able to create an iso file.

Whereupon I discovered a problem for which I can think of no solution: My recovery disk contains 516 MB of files. My SP3 disk contains 357 MB of files. I have 33 MB of update files. That adds up to 906 MB of files, but the iso file that I created is 983 MB. My CD-R disks hold 700 MB. I know of no way to burn a 983 MB file (or even a 906 MB file) onto a disk that holds only 700 MB.

If I were working with SP2 (477 MB) instead of SP3 (357 MB), the problem would even more pronounced. The iso file would presumably be well over 1 GB. Nevertheless, the program obviously assumes that the user has the ability to create an XP installation CD containing XP with SP2 integrated into it.

So, how is one supposed to create such a CD when the iso file is far larger than the capacity of a CD-R disk?

Additional, probably irrelevant, information: My CD burning program is Cyberlink Power2Go 4. I don't have a DVD burner.
