Zitat

Here's what I've noticed:

--Search Panel looks completely different ... more colorful and useful now, I think.  It even has a View button for Zoom and SmallScreen.
--Pressing F2 to enter a url has an autocomplete for a Google Search ... hit the down arrow to access it.  It's the bottom option in the autocomplete drop down box there.
--A customized user javascript file called browser.js appears in the profile folder to fix some non-Opera-compliant websites.

Zitat

Note: For one day only, you can get an ad-free version of Opera. Simply e-mail [email protected] to obtain a registration code. This offer is valid from 12 a.m. Tuesday, August 30 to 12 a.m. Wednesday, August 31 2005 (PDT).

Zitat

The release of Opera 9 Preview 2 marks the start of a new tradition: The Weekly Builds. Every week until the final version of Opera 9 is ready, we intend to ship a weekly updated version of Opera 9 on this blog.

The goal is to further open up our development process to our devoted users and allow you to be more involved at an earlier stage than when we ship the next public beta.

The Weekly Builds are snapshots, they are not as thoroughly tested as a Technology Preview or a Public Beta. You should only use these builds if you are not afraid of losing data (e-mail, bookmarks, anything) or crashing your computer.

- Widgets are now displayed on a faded background.
- Pinned widgets have their own tasks, and can be activated with Alt+Tab as with normal application windows.
- Pinned widgets can be kept on top using the right-click menu.

- History panel now uses localised time when grouping by date.
- Optimised tooltip formatting to prevent long tooltips from causing Opera to become unresponsive.

Fixed problem where Opera would run in English after installing in Traditional Spanish.
Fixed startup freeze after installing Opera in Czech. Note: be sure to remove the default bookmark file(s) from previous installations of Opera 9 in Czech -- or remove the old installations altogether, else the new installation will automatically import it, and Opera will freeze on startup again.

Also fixed blank inline pdf files.

Straight from the build machine..
By borg. Friday, 10. November 2006, 16:27:04WEEKLY
Another weekly for you, smoking hot from the build servers, even our testers haven't played much with these before you, so be nice to them!

What you will see:

Fraud protection is not enabled by default anymore. We basically had to turn it on by default in the first weeklies to make sure we got as much feedback as possible in the limited time we had.

However, it's a new feature and we think users may need some time to get used to this idea, so we've made it an opt-in feature for now. Opera is about giving users the choice, after all.

Technically, there's a difference in how we transmit the data to the site check server. We now use https when we send information about an https server, to ensure that the trust information is at least as reliable as the original content. We still prefer to use http most of the time, since we're not very comfortable with sending home information that our users can't easily inspect.

Other changes:

We've fixed a number of bugs since last week, including the super-annoying gzip cache bug. NOTE: You may need to empty your cache before everything goes back to normal.

What's going on:

The desktop team was represented in the first Opera Backstage Russia event, in Ivanovo last week.

Next week we'll also participate in Webmaster World in Las Vegas. Be sure to drop by the Opera booth if you're there!

Yesterday, W3C released the first public working draft of the Widgets 1.0 specification, largely based on the current Opera implementation.

Changes since last weekly
Fixed bug where "Go to URL" feature deselects last one or two characters of a URL
Fixed bug where newsfeed count did not updated in Mail panel status bar
Fixed bug where cnn.com didn't always finish loading
Fixed bug where accesskeys didn't work right on frame pages
Fixed bug where Gzipped pages was not decoded when loaded from cache
Added preference to disable trust button in address bar opera:config#SecurityPrefs|EnableTrustButton

Neue Weekly: 9.23
Build: 8805 (Windows), 3691 (Mac), 657 (UNIX)

Yesterday Mozilla released their jsfunfuzz tool at the Blackhat convention in Las Vegas. The tool is very useful for stress-testing the javascript engine and its stability. While running the tool, we found four crashers - one of which might have some security implications.

Here is a build that should address all of the issues: test it, give it a spin with the tool - and please report any crashers you might find with the fuzzer, and most importantly: send us a crashlog along with it!

Have fuzz fun! And many thanks to Mozilla for sharing their tool.

Neue Opera 9.5 Build
Buildnummer: 9594 (Windows), 4487 (Mac), 1629 (UNIX)

Here is another Friday build for you, with a lot of bug fixes and cool stuff added. Before reporting issues, please check the Known issues section at the bottom of this post! We get a lot of duplicate bug reports on the known issues every time we release a snapshot. Please save the QA team some time by not reporting them once again.

Changelog:

Wichtigste Neuerung:

Weitere Neuerungen:
  • New “logical searching” code — this means that inline find is now practically instant even on very long pages
  • The Feeds toolbar got a new button to check for updates
  • Added “Make Readable” action. Currently, it's not available through any menu, toolbar, or keyboard shortcut, but it's possible to bind it manually. How it works: select some text on the page that is hard to read because the font size is too small, then activate the action. The page will automatically zoom up so that the text becomes readable
  • Added support for pointer-events="boundingBox" in SVG
  • It is now possible to use an SVG image in an IMG element as well as specify one as a background image in CSS
  • Improved performance of JS Date.getX methods

Behobene Fehler:
  • Fixed an issue where pages could cause scripts to run in opera:historysearch. Thanks to David Bloom for reporting the issue
  • Fixed display of inline elements within justified text
  • Element borders are no longer offset from the area filled with background color
  • No more crashing on contenteditable in XML
  • Text-shadow with 1px blur radius now actually shows some blurring
  • Widgets whose files are in a subdirectory of the zip archive are supported again
  • The list of chat rooms now shows the correct number of users in each room
  • No more repaint artefacts with the dropdown menu on www.subsys.no
  • getAttribute will return the updated value after modifying the element's style properties
  • Two attributes with the same local name and namespace on the same XML element are now a fatal parsing error, as per XML spec
  • Opera no longer spends a lot of time on startup trying to read every file in the cache
  • Pending IMAP and POP commands are now preserved and optionally executed on the next startup
  • Getters and setters are now exposed for properties of native JS objects
  • Fixed fetching of POP mail after purging the trash
  • The outline doesn't follow the “silhouette” of children elements clipped using overflow:hidden anymore
  • Legend is not anymore pushed into the fieldset by a comment before it
  • Entities sent to plugins are now properly decoded, fixes slideshow on www.vg.no
  • setTimeout() is no longer confused when an object is passed instead of a numeric delay value
  • Mail passwords are no longer lost when clearing wand passwords
  • No more crashing when installing widgets
  • The client certificate selection dialog now shows the originating server name
  • Messages wouldn't have attachment icons and wouldn't show in the Attachment views; fixed now
  • Styling of opera:historysearch is now consistent with other internal Opera pages such as opera:about
  • Bodies of auto-saved drafts wouldn't display; fixed now
  • Downloads won't overwrite existing files without warning anymore
  • Fixed an issue with propagation of bottom margins that affected maps.google.com
  • Multiple optimizations in the internal search engine used for searching in visited pages and mail
  • Dozens of other fixes in the rendering engine
  • Fixed some more crashers and memory leaks…

Windows-spezifisch:
  • Fixed crasher when dragging a toolbar button from a webpage to the Start bar
  • Speed Dial sometimes showed thumbnails for wrong pages
  • Ellipses in menus were displaed incorrectly on Windows 98
  • Fixed a DDE communication issue
  • Interlaced PNG images with alpha transparency are now displayed correctly in Windows Vista
  • Nonsensical filter is no more shown in the file chooser for a form upload
  • Opera window is no more resizable in full screen mode
  • Left Alt+Shift doesn't switch the text direction anymore

UNIX-spezifisch:
  • Icons in the File menu are now properly sized in QT4 builds
  • Ensured that all Flash 9.0 r6* versions get the GTK main loop they need
  • When avoiding to overwrite an existing file, downloads are now renamed to a more scripting-friendly “filename_N.ext” instead of “filename (N).ext”
  • The GTK file chooser is used under XFCE

Mac-spezifisch:
  • Command-Option-Left/Right added as shortcuts to switch tabs
  • Fixed repaint issues on OS X 10.3
  • KeyCodes for the arrow keys are now compatible with those on Windows
  • The last character or word in an element with text-shadow and opacity is no more lost
  • The click that activates an inactive Opera window is now also handled (e.g. it activates buttons)
  • U+21A9 LEFTWARDS ARROW WITH HOOK character is now rendered properly

[BUG 290358] Bookmarks cannot be selected from the Bookmarks menu
[BUG 290355] Opera crashes when clicking bookmarks in Personal bar

"Diskussion",
falls das auf die Winfuture Frontseite gerät. :wallbash:

Changelogs: Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD

Download Opera 9.5 beta

---

We've got a special new beta of Opera Mini 4 for you today.

Our newest product, Opera Link, has made its way into Opera Mini. With Opera Link, you're able to synchronize and share your bookmarks and Speed Dial with the Opera desktop browser.

So for example, say you're reading a news article on the Web with your desktop/laptop computer and want to continue reading it on Opera Mini. You simply bookmark the webpage; the Opera desktop browser will then synchronize the new bookmark with Opera Link, and voilà! - that bookmark is now instantly available on your Opera Mini.

We see Opera Link as a new way in which people browse the Web. No longer will you be limited to browsing the Web on multiple computers/devices independently, Opera Link will share those browsing experiences.

In addition to Opera Link, we've also made other improvements and squashed some bugs.

Changelog since beta 2:

  • Added Opera Link support
  • Added Speed Dials
  • Added RSS feed support
  • Added shortcut *+0 for feeds
  • Added shortcuts for speed dials ('*' + speed dial number)
  • Added function to ask the transcoders for the title and favicon of a new bookmark or speed dial
  • Stylus devices can now scroll shortcut help overlays
  • Changed "Fit to width" to "Mobile view"
  • Changed "Autozoom" to "Show overview"
  • Low, medium and high image quality setting
  • Images fit better to the screen (no panning)
  • Improved BiDi support
  • Page position and scaling is now preserved after reload of page
  • Stylus devices without pointer motion events should be able to scroll anyway, just not in realtime
  • Faked transcoding progress when using feeds
  • Show numbers in ordered lists
  • Improved stylesheet handling
  • Focus highlight now looks inactive when loading
  • New and improved server side cookie handling

The second and long awaited feature is :

The FlashPlayer RC works!!

if you don't have it already - you can go get it here:

http://labs.adobe.co...s/flashplayer9/

The problem was solved by spoofing the plugin :( We now say that we are Firefox - we have brought this to Adobe's attention and are looking forward to future versions of the FlashPlayer. This spoofing can be turned off by setting the OPERA_PLUGINWRAPPER_NO_SPOOF environment variable.

We have also worked out a lot of other minor bugs and look forward to getting even more reports from you.

Known issues:
There might be some crashes when running widgets.

I have a quick update on where we are with Acid3.
Since the test was officially announced recently ( http://www.webstanda...eases/20080303/ ) , our Core developers have been hard at work fixing bugs and adding the missing standards support.
Today we reached a 100% pass rate for the first time! There are some remaining issues yet to be fixed, but we hope to have those sorted out shortly.

We will release a technical preview version on http://labs.opera.com within the next week or so. For now, the screenshot above shows the Acid3 test as rendered in our latest WinGogi Desktop build. WinGogi is the Windows version of our reference builds used for the internal testing of Opera's platform independent Core.

Painting performance fixes

By mitchman2. Friday, 28. March 2008, 13:55:30

kestrel, Opera, snapshot, performance
This week we've been working on performance on Windows and Mac painting. You should see performance increase by 2x to 10x on heavy DHTML pages. Performance increase depend on the test page, graphics card, and OS used. To see the improvements for yourself, compare the previous snapshot to today's release on the following test cases:

Performance test 1
Performance test 2

Under XP, with a AMD 4600+ X2 CPU and a NVidia 7600 GT gfx card, I see a 9x performance increase. On other graphics cards and OSes, the performance improvement will differ.

It's worth noting that this optimization is in painting performance and might not yield similar improvements on regular web pages without DHTML or other graphics intensive operations. We have also done some performance optimizations in Javascript garbage collection and memory allocation of ECMAscript objects, which should be visible on all platforms.

Many of the Acid3 fixes we've made are still undergoing testing and further development, so you will not see Kestrel achieve the same pass rate on Acid3 for the time being. If you want to test our GOGI build for ACID 3 compliance, head over to the Opera Labs.

WARNING: These are development snapshots: they contain the latest changes, but they also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, they may not work at all.

Known issues
Opening Help will cause Opera to crash.
Save As for a web page only lets you save as "HTML file" on Windows.
The progress bar does not show if it's set to "Pop-up at the bottom".
On OS X, scrolling to the bottom of a page with the scrollbars does not work.

Changelog
Several download fixes
"Open With" other browsers now works.
Fixed funky parsing problems on YouTube.
All downloads and saved content (except web pages) are now put in the transfer window for easier access
Viewing source should now work properly with applications that need a file extension to work
UNIX: Fixed a Flash crash
UNIX: Made the mplayer plug-in draw itself in the correct size again
UNIX and Mac: Fixed various command line bugs
Calling substr with negative length now returns an empty string
Array indexOf now treats a non-numeric second parameter as 0

Mail
Fixed problems expunging or moving messages on certain servers
Fixed issue where the "Contacting Folder" status message displayed the wrong count

ACID3 fixes
Zero bytes in encodeURIComponent and encodeURI are now handled correctly
Unicode escapes can no longer be used to put non-identifier characters into identifiers

EV and certificate updates

By csant. Tuesday, 8. April 2008, 15:12:24

certificates, ev, Opera, kestrel
Subtle, but important UI and backend changes are coming up. In just a few words: Kestrel gets EV, the address field will change the way it displays page information, and we now have automatic certificate updates!

This latest snapshot build has support for Extended Validation certificates, in short called EV. This means that on EV sites you'll see a padlock on a green background. And remember: It ain't EV 'til it's EV, all EV. Opera is a bit more strict than other browsers, and will display an EV site with a "green padlock" only if all elements on the page are EV. Read Yngve's article for details on this.

You'll also notice some more changes in the address bar: the fraud protection button will now work differently: for HTTP sites you will not see the button anymore. On HTTPS sites the padlock will be on yellow background, and for EV the padlock will be on green background. If however you come across an HTTPS site which lowers the overall rating of the security level of the page (details on the levels are again to be found in Yngve's article), you will see a grey "?" button, which will provide you with more information on the security level. A fraudulent page will still be flagged with a red warning in the address field.

The backend change in this snapshot affects the certificate database: we can now add new Roots to the Certificate Authority database without requiring users to update their installation. Find details about this over in Yngve's article.

WARNING: These are development snapshots: they contain the latest changes, but they also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, they may not work at all.

Neue Opera 9.5 Build
Buildnummer: 9981 (Windows), 4814 (Mac), 1962 (UNIX)

Today's snapshot is significantly faster on Windows thanks to a technique called profile-guided optimization (PGO). Compiler optimizers sometimes make tweaks that are controversial: they improve performance in what it perceives as the most common case, but make it worse in the perceived least common case. The result can be much better if the compiler is given some hints. That's what PGO is about. With this technique, Opera is compiled twice. The first compilation creates a specially instrumented build that gathers statistics about which code is called and which variables are used most often. The instrumented build loads sites automatically using "URL player", a testing feature available in every Opera build (more information about that in a later blog post). This information is dumped into files and used to produce the final build that's optimized based on the gathered statistics.

Opera uses Microsoft's Visual Studio C++ compiler on Windows and gcc on UNIX and OS X, both of which support PGO. On Windows, setting up PGO builds was straight-forward. PGO in gcc is a different story. On both UNIX and OS X, the first PGO builds crashed. Work continues to resolve this issue.

Neue Opera 9.5 Build

We have been very strict on our EV implementation - the rationale behind our strict "It ain't EV 'til it's EV, all EV" has been extensively documented by Yngve in a few articles.

However, we are now moving towards a less strict implementation - a consistent user experience is important throughout the wide palette of browsers that implemented EV. At the recent face-to-face meeting with the Web Security Context Working Group, we have agreed with other vendors on this behaviour as an industry standard. You will now get the green padlock, signalling the presence of an EV certificate, if the top level document is served with strong TLS and EV, and all included elements are served at least with strong TLS. For details, please head over to Yngve's article.

In other news, Dragonfly guys have started making snapshots as well, with their first one released yesterday. On the desktop side we have started persistently caching the Dragonfly application so that it loads much faster, and can be used offline, after restarting Opera.

Also, our Core team has started a blog - head over to the new Core Team blog to follow the cool news and latest development at Opera's heart.

neue OperaVersion verfügbar.
Ganz neu: neuer StandardSkin!

Alongside the regular development of Kestrel we have had a separate project to modernize our look and feel. The new skin is in many ways a prelude to Peregrine, giving you a sneak peak into the future...

If one word should describe the new look, it would be Sharp. We wanted to create a skin with clean lines and clear icons, inspired by the intuitive symbols you can expect at an airport and in line with our Scandinavian heritage. This also better matches the look and feel we introduced on the Wii and refine in Opera 9.5 for Windows Mobile.

The color scheme of the user interface is designed to not steal focus away from your browsing, but being available when you need it and clearly indicate activity (stop button turning red) or security elements.

The quality and attention to detail in the browser itself should be reflected in the look and feel. That is why we have let ourselves be inspired by high-end and professional audio/video equipment for the backgrounds, buttons and tabs.

In the default setup we have chosen to include a button to open the panels, since they are far too useful to be hidden. Also, on the panel selector we have added a "+" button to easily add more panels or remove the ones you don't use. This makes Opera easy to use for a beginner while making it natural to grow with the product and discover more advanced features for the rest of us

The New Tab button has been moved to the right of the last tab. IE7 users will be familiar with this, so the transition to Opera is natural (before you learn Ctrl+T or double-clicking the tab bar...). As you can see, the button has a sharp edge, mirrored by the closed tabs button, a hint of speed and performance.

PS
We will of course offer the classic skin for download for those of us who need a bit of time to get used to the new

Nice Graphics ™ by Pål Syvertsen, Flott Altså

WARNING: These are development snapshots: they contain the latest changes, but they also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, they may not work at all.

We are using a new signing key for the online root store and for EV data - the previous keys were test keys. Due to the update, EV will not work when upgrading from an older builds supporting EV until you perform a manual check for updates and restart Opera (or wait until the automatic check for updates kicks in).

Known issues:
Dragonfly does not work when JavaScript is disabled.
All the search icons are Opera icons
Translate menu doesn't work
Panel dropdown selector doesn't work

Dear Opera Community
By Jon. Tuesday, 10. June 2008, 09:00:20

Almost two years ago I stepped onto a pier in Seattle to unveil Opera 9 to the world. Many things at Opera have changed since then, but our commitment to providing you with a powerful, safe and fast Web experience has not. Since that day we have been hard at work on our next generation browser, code-named Kestrel. I'm pleased to announce that today we are ready to share the fruits of our labor with you.

I invite each of you to try Opera 9.5, arriving very soon. We've worked exceptionally hard during the past two years to make something we're very proud to present to you. We've listened to your feedback, learned from your experiences using our browser, and channeled your input to make our best browser yet.

Opera 9.5 has a brand-new look that feels inspired by high-end audio equipment and Scandinavian design. Our refined address bar allows you to find *any* word on *any* Web page you have visited before. Opera Link allows you to bring your favorite browser with you, wherever you go. You can sync your bookmarks, Speed Dial, and Notes, and work seamlessly with Opera Mini, our award-winning browser for your mobile phone. We protect you against two different types of malware that may try to infect your computer.

We refused to compromise, and I think the result speaks for itself. I truly feel this is our most powerful, safest and fastest Web browser yet.

But while we are pleased about our release of Opera 9.5, today is really about you. You have supported us and helped us evolve since we began 12 years ago. Back then we were just two people, sitting in a Norwegian basement. Now we are more than 500 people working to improve the Web for all. I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done - and continue to do - for us.

I hope you enjoy Opera 9.5, and I hope you will continue to support us by turning the whisper into a shout. Help us continue making the Web a better place for all by telling someone about Opera today.

Respectfully yours,

Jon von Tetzchner, Opera

Hidy ho,

You haven't seen my face around here before, but Olli felt it was time I made a timely appearance, so here I am! I work in Desktop QA, doing cross-platform stuff, with my feet deeply planted in the Mac-part of our little camp. We have a new snapshot ready for you, with some nice fixes and improvements!

WARNING: This is a development snapshot: it contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Known Issues:
May crash when showing certain certificate dialogs.

Changelog:

General
Added ability to open mailto links in webmail providers, such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Windows Live Hotmail.
Fixed loading web pages when clicking on a link while the document still is loading.
Fixed "Bookmark All Open Pages" action.
Fixed skin color schemes - you can use your favorite color scheme again!
"Lock Tab" icon should now be better visible on locked tabs.
Several stability fixes.

Opera Mail
Improved message composition window context menu.
Fixed loss of mail drafts if several drafts were open when closing Opera.
Fixed sending link by mail in plain text format.
Improved message encoding detection.
Fixed several bugs in the compose window related to navigation and editing (also applies to designMode and contentEditable).

Windows-specific
Fixed problem with text styled with opacity.
It's no longer necessary to restart Opera after changing the external source viewer.

CODE
For those who'd like a sneaky-peek at the development of the new Opera 10 skin for Windows and Mac, this is the snapshot build for you!

Things to bear in mind while you're playing with this:
What you see here is neither complete nor final, and there will be more iterations before the final release. Some elements will still look like the current skin!
Currently the skin is implemented for the default setup, tabs at the top, panels on the left, panel toolbar on the left and status bar at the bottom. Other setups will look a bit odd - for now.
This build doesn't include the new features in Opera 10, so one of the reasons for the revised skin isn't there. All we be clear when the beta comes out!

A more descriptive post about the thinking behind the new skin, and why we're changing it will follow with the beta. For now, give it time to 'settle down' and see what you think!

Please post your skin feedback in this forum thread.

Screenshot

We have also hit another issue no other browser has run into (yet!). By reaching the version number 10 we have noticed several high-profile sites and frameworks breaking because of wrong browser sniffing. Opera 10 gets (erroneously!) detected as... Opera 1. We have modified the UA string to read

Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux i686; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00

(or similar - depending on your platform). The "real" version is added at the end of the string. We will publish a more detailed explanation of this soon. Please let us know if you come across some web sites that break now because of this change!

Known Issues
There are several issues with the skin: Speed Dial is unfinished, there are missing/outdated icons, some things may be placeholders/work in progress, and so on

Search UI updates:

Opera 10 Beta 1
Buildnummer: 1551 (Windows), 6477 (Mac), 4402 (UNIX)

Entwicklerblog: Welcome to Opera 10 Beta 1
Presseerklärung: Reward your curiosity with Opera 10 beta
Eigene Beta-Webseite auf opera.com

As always we have some new goodies for you, things you have not seen in previous snapshots.
Because I've had a finger or two into making these features I will present them for you and explain a little bit how they work.

Visual Tabs - oh shiny!

Eingefügtes Bild

Yes, we have added thumbnails on the tabs themselves to make it even easier to find that Web site you were looking for. These visual tabs are currently folded away by default, but can easily be enabled by dragging the drag handle available just beneath the tab bar.

Double-clicking or middle-clicking the same drag handle will show/hide the tab thumbnails.

Speed Dial - more shiny!

Two popular requests for Speed Dial has been to be able to use more than 9 configured sites. We've also seen frequent requests to be able to have a customized Speed Dial background. Well, guess what?

In the bottom right of the Speed Dial you now have a new Configure Speed Dial button that opens a brand new configuration dialog.

With this new configuration dialog, you will be able to set a background picture that can be stretched, centered or tiled. It is also possible to set the number of sites that should be shown, ranging from 4 to 25.

More new features

If the last version of Opera you tested was 9.6 or the alpha from last year, here are some of the additional features in Opera 10 beta 1:

  • Opera Turbo
  • Automatic updates
  • Crash logging
  • Inline spelling checker
  • 100/100 and pixel-perfect on the Acid3 test
  • Significantly improved performance, particularly on CSS/HTML rendering
  • Opera Mail HTML Compose support
  • ... and much more!

This is just some of the new features we have included in the beta and I urge you to read the complete change logs available from http://www.opera.com/docs/changelogs/ for all the details.

Isn't it nice getting builds? So nice in fact we thought you might want one for the weekend! :)

The main fix here is to DSK-271546 (After signing up for a new account, Opera isn't automatically logged in after restart), so please make sure this is working for you.

Thanks in advance for the testing!

Opera 10.5 Internal Build Leaked

Earlier this week, Opera Software had revealed that a special pre-alpha build Opera 10.5 will be unveiled on 22nd December. However, gHacks is reporting that an internal build has already been leaked.

1. Updated skin: Opera has received another facelift. The tab bar has been merged with the titlebar – similar to what we are accustomed to seeing in Google Chrome.
